The Duchess of Cambridge had a day of engagements in London today to mark the publication of the book 'Hold Still' which she spearheaded alongside The National Portrait Gallery in her role as Patron.
The day started with the Duchess playing book fairy. She joined The Book Fairies - a global movement to share books for people to find, read and leave for someone else - to share copies of Hold Still around the UK.
Kate then visited the Royal London Hospital Whitechapel to meet staff and hear how the hospital uses art to benefit both patients and employees via its arts and health service, Vital Arts.
Her final stop was the National Portrait Gallery Archive where the final 100 Hold Still images have become part of the Gallery’s national Collection.
The Duchess was taken through other photographs from the Gallery’s Collection, which dates back to the 19th century — all documenting people’s experiences and key moments in the UK's social history.

SKIRT: NEW! Beige pleated midi skirt.
It has been suggested that the skirt may be the beige Zara pleated skirt with belt, however the hem seam does not appear to be a match. Nonetheless, Kate may have had the length altered which may be the reason for the difference.
