This morning, members of the royal family gathered for the annual Remembrance Sunday commemorations at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London. The Duchess of Cambridge attended the ceremony and watched the service from the Foreign Office central balcony alongside Her Majesty the Queen, and Camila, The Duchess of Cornwall.
Catherine debuted a bespoke piece from her go-to designer Catherine Walker. Cut with a high point collar and zip-up front, the tailored design incorporates military-inspired details.
The Duchess donned a new black Philip Treacy velvet hat with veil. We saw the return of the Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings, on loan from Queen Elizabeth II's royal jewellery collection. Kate finished the look with a new poppy brooch in support of the Royal British Legion. It is The Codebreakers Brooch (£29.99) - a tribute to the work of those in signal intelligence. The piece is inspired by the rotors of the Enigma machines, from which Allied cryptologists successfully decrypted a vast number of enemy messages during WWII. Kate's paternal grandmother, Miss Valerie Glassborow worked as a code-breaker during the war.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Festival of Remembrance this evening.
The Festival commemorates all those who have lost their lives in conflicts and it is usually attended by the Royal Family. It is organized by the Royal British Legion and is held every year on the eve of Remembrance Sunday. William and Kate joined the Queen, and other senior members of the Royal Family at London's Royal Albert Hall for the British Legion's traditional televised service. The Duchess premiered a long sleeve dress with an a-line skirt falling just below the knee. The dress features a wide bateau neckline and a waist defined with a black velvet band. The designer is currently unknown but it's been suggested it could be a Jenny Packham creation because the silhouette appears to be identical to the black Jenny Packham 'silver fern' dress Kate wore to a State reception during the royal tour of New Zealand in 2014. The Duchess carried a new black velvet minaudière this evening from Alexander McQueen. The custom clutch combines the body of the designer's Beetle Box clutch and the jewel clasp seen on the Mini Crystal-Embellished Leather Bag. The Duchess donned a budget-friendly headpeice. She debuted a black Zara Sparkly Padded Headband (US$29.99). ID by @PackhamGown. Kate wore her acorn brooch topped with three paper poppies - possibly one for each of her great-great uncles who were killed in the Great War. She finished the look with the Queen's diamond stud and pearl drop earrings. This is the fifth consecutive year Kate has attended the performance. Below we see her in 2015 wearing a black lace Dolce & Gabbana dress. In 2016 she wore the Temperley London 'Callas' evening coat and in 2017 she debuted a custom Catherine Walker coat. Last year she steeped out in a black Roland Mouret asymmetric neck dress.
Today The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the launch of the National Emergencies Trust, an independent charity which will provide an emergency response to disasters in the UK.
Kate stepped out in a new royal blue Emilia Wickstead dress. It is the designer's 'Kate' a-line dress, a silhouette the Duchess also owns in lavender, and in forest green with a square neckline.
The dress was customized with a matching belt featuring a covered rectangular buckle and pointed end, as seen on a number of designs in Emilia Wickstead's AW 19 collection.
Kate offset the royal blue hue with black accessories. She a carried her Aspinal x Beulah Blue Heart Black Croc Clutch and wore a new pair of black patent heels.
They are the Jimmy Choo 'Romy 85' patent-leather pumps (US$650).
I think Kate may have worn her 'Women of the First World War' Poppy Brooch in support of the Royal British Legion.
The Duchess topped off the look with her trusty Sapphire & Diamond Oval Drop Earrings.
