On the National Day of Reflection, one year since the first lockdown in the UK, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took part in a moment of reflection at Westminster Abbey to remember all those who have lost their lives as a result of the pandemic over the last twelve months.
Prince William lit a candle and Duchess Kate left daffodils after a minute’s silence in the Shrine of St Edward the Confessor.
William and Kate also visited the coronavirus vaccination centre at Westminster Abbey to pay tribute to the efforts of those involved in the Covid-19 vaccine rollout.
The Duchess looked ethereal in a winter white coat by Catherine Walker (ID by Caroline Parr).
It is the designer's 'Valeria' coat dress featuring scalloped edging and a delicate ivory floral lace hand-applied to the front of this soft wool coat.
Kate offset the pale hue with the same tan brown accessories she sported last Thursday for a visit to Newham Ambulance Station.
The clutch is the Métier 'Roma' Small Suede Shoulder Bag.
The brown suede pumps are the Gianvito Rossi 85 pumps.
The Duchess completed the elegant ensemble with her beloved Annoushka Baroque Pearl Drops and Kiki Diamond Hoop Earrings.
Next month, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will celebrate their 10 year wedding anniversary! Their return to Westminster Abbey today must have brought back so many wonderful memories of their nuptials as they walked through the historic church.

I understand this was a solemn visit but the outfit is a complete miss for me. It's a dignified look but the coat belongs on someone over 60. It's poorly fitted on the Duchess which is rare because her coats usually fit her like a glove. The accessories don't match the refined style of the coat. The pearl drop earrings were a good choice.

This is a beautiful coat. I love the style, it oozes elegance. It does have a more mature look to it though, regardless, the Duchess carries it off well.

I really like this coat but I agree the fit is off which is unusual for her. I think I prob would have preferred navy accessories taking into account what William is wearing.

I was looking into the pumps that Kate wore and I was having problems finding them, but I found a pump similar a Gianvito Rossi at this site https://www.fwrd.com/product-gianvito-rossi-suede-pumps/GIAN-WZ177/?d=Womens&pdpsrc=recs_rv§ionURL=Direct+Hit

Thanks for sharing. I think the heel height of the GR pumps are a bit higher than Kate's. To date, the Jimmy Choo 'Romy 80' appear to be the best match x

If you are looking for a dupe for the shoes, I believe the Women's Local Pump, Steven by Steve Madden in chestnut suede to be a good option. They are listed at $98 on Amazon.

I love the overall look, very elegant. But I don't think the coat is fitting very well around the waist.

The Duchess of Cambridge looks lovely. I love the coat, the colour, the detailing, but the coat does not seem to be fitting properly around the waist . The accessories are lovely.

I agree with the comments that the coat is not a good fit. If it fitted well this would be a great outfit. Well done William and Kate for supporting the vaccine workers and marking the day of reflection.
