The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended their first Festival of Remembrance, adding another milestone to their growing list of royal duties. The Festival commemorates all those who have lost their lives in conflicts and it is usually attended by the Royal Family. It is organized by the Royal British Legion and is held every year on the day before Remembrance Sunday.
William and Kate joined the Queen, Prince Philip and other senior members of the Royal Family at London's Royal Albert Hall for the British Legion's traditional televised service.
As expected, Kate was in an all black ensemble.
She debuted a black lace dress from Dolce & Gabbana (US$3175). The cocktail dress has a sheer lace design with a detachable silk-blend slip and scalloped trim.
This is Kate's second piece from the Italian design house of D&G. A few weeks ago she premiered the Dolce & Gabbana Purple Guipure lace dress at the "Creative Collaborations" exhibition.
Tonight, Kate accessorized with her Jimmy Choo 'Aimee' black suede platform pumps and Anya Hindmarch bespoke 'Maud' clutch.
We also got a glimpse of Kate's art-deco inspired diamond earrings which were a wedding gift from her father-in-law, Prince Charles.
She also wore her Buckley London jeweled poppy brooch.
We we see the Duchess again tomorrow at the Remembrance Sunday service.
