This evening, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the first-ever Earthshot Prize awards at Alexandra Palace in London.

The Duchess looked glamorous as she stepped out on the green carpet in her lilac Alexander McQueen gown. We first saw the Grecian-inspired gown a decade ago at a Los Angeles BAFTA gala during the 2011 North American tour (shown below). The Duchess swapped the original sequined belt (top pic) for a beaded one this evening (bottom pic). 
The belt appears to be a slimmer version of the Jenny Packham 'Magic' belt as seen in the designer's Bridal 2018 collection (ID by CoutureAndRoyals).
On her feet were the Oscar de la Renta Platinum Lamé Cabrina Pumps.
Kate wore her hair down and swept to one side giving off old Hollywood vibes.
The Earthshot Prize, founded by The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, has led an unprecedented global search for the most inspiring and innovative solutions to the greatest environmental challenges facing the planet. It is the most ambitious environmental prize in history and this inaugural ceremony will reflect this. An awards ceremony will take place in different cities across the world each year between 2021 and 2030 to award five winners The Earthshot Prize.

Five, one million-pound prizes were awarded tonight, with the Duchess of Cambridge announcing the final one.

I loved the rewear of this beautiful gown. I do prefer this outing of it, as opposed to its first wear 10 years ago. The Duchess looked the complete package, hair and makeup are perfect. The Duke looked fabulous, they are a lovely couple

Lovely! I enjoy how the Duchess wears her clothing again and finds different ways of re-tweaking her outfits to always make the look interesting and fresh. She is an example to follow in our changing environment.

This was one of the first full length gowns that Duchess Kate appeared in, being worn in the first year of their marriage. There is a cross stitch pattern of the Duchess wearing this gown so it made an impression at the time of a glamorous princess. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
