The Duchess of Cambridge visited the King Henry’s Walk Garden today.
It is an award-winning green space in the Mildmay ward of Islington, created by the local community, for the local community. It works to bring people together through gardening and food growing.
Kate looked country chic for her first official engagement of 2019, wearing a Dubarry 'Bracken' Tweed Sports Jacket in the Heath colourway (£399).
Made from Teflon® coated 100% Pure New Wool the tweed jacket features alcantara trim, gathered patch pockets, and button and loop front closure with unique Dubarry cast metal buttons.
Under the jacket Kate wore a wine hued sweater with ribbed detailing. It appears to be the J.Crew Mockneck sweater in mahogany supersoft yarn (US$79.50). ID by @MiddletonMaven.
It's reported Kate's pants are by Zara. They could be the same pair worn in Canada during the 2016 royal visit.
The Duchess debuted a pair of combat-style boots.
They are the See By Chloé Leather-trimmed suede ankle boot. Originally retailing for $445, the boots are now reduced to $267 at Net-a-Porter.
Kate finished the casual style with her beloved KIKI 'Lauren' Yellow Gold Pavé Diamond Leaf Earrings.
Ahead of today's engagement, Kensington Palace announced that Kate has co-designed the 'Back to Nature' Garden for this year’s Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show with landscape architects Andree Davies and Adam White. The garden will be a Woodland setting for families and communities to connect with nature. You can read more on the royal.uk website.

Kate makes conventional choices look chic again, she has a natural style that wears her outfits easily. She embraces colours that suit her, styles that flatter and still retain comfort and ease of movement. Love these earth tones on her.

I love the tweed jacket, sweater and boots, but I wish Kate would wear pants a size larger. These pants look painted on. Also she should have rolled up the hem of the jeggings because this tucked in look with ankle boots is a big no-no.
