The Duchess of Cambridge was back on royal duty today visiting the Anna Freud Centre’s Early Years Parenting Unit (EYPU) in London.
She attended in her role as the charity's patron and was there to learn more about the EYPU and their work with parents with personality disorders/difficulties who have children under the age of five.
For her first official engagement of the year, the Duchess debuted a new belted coat dress by Eponine. The £1,650 piece is from the designer's AW16 range and is rendered in double wool crepe. It features three quarter length sleeves, a collar with notch cut outs, a slender matching belt and wide pleats in the back.
Eponine is a Kensington based label founded by designer Jet Shenkman who specialises in bespoke pieces inspired by the 1950s and 1960s. Kate first wore one of her designs in March 2016 when she visited urban youth charity, XLP.
Kate teamed the new cobalt blue coat with her trusty navy suede accessories which included her Stuart Weitzman 'Muse' clutch and Rupert Sanderson 'Malory' Navy Suede Pumps.
She also wore her beloved Sapphire & Diamond Oval Drop Earrings and Ballon Bleu de Cartier Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch.
Kate showcased a subtle style tweak by wearing her brunette locks swept back and held in place with mini claw clips.
In the afternoon, the Duchess joined her husband at the Child Bereavement UK Newham Centre, of which Prince William is patron.
The royal couple visited on the occasion of the facility's one year anniversary, and helped the children and staff celebrate with cake.
