Today The Duchess of Cambridge launched 5 Big Questions, a landmark survey which gives people across the UK an opportunity to provide their view on raising the next generation.
Kate is marking the launch with a 24 hour tour visiting London, Cardiff and Surrey. It began earlier today with a visit to MiniBrum at Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum.
The nationwide survey is part of the Duchess' ongoing Early Years Initiative, and the aim of the new project, in her own words: “I want to hear the key issues affecting our families and communities so I can focus my work on where it is needed most. My ambition is to provide a lasting change for generations to come.”
Kate wore a patterned blouse and trousers for today's outing. She debuted Tabitha Webb's 'Pansy Pussybow' blouse in green chevron (£295). Made in the UK, the silk top is now available for pre-order (with thanks to What Kate Wore for the ID).
It appears the Duchess wore her navy suede Emmy London 'Josie' pumps.
Kate complemented the blouse with her green onyx Monica VinaderSiren Wire Earrings.
There was a new piece of jewellery on her wrist. It's not very often we see Kate wear a bracelet so it was a nice surprise to see her accessorise with a Halcyon Days 'Maya' Torque Aquamarine and Gold Bangle (£110) - ID by UFO No More. Halcyon Days is a British company specializing in fine enamelware, and it holds three Royal Warrants as suppliers of Objets d’Art. The Maya Torque bangle is a stylish open-end design with a hint of art deco where the twisted metal meets the aquamarine enamel finish. Below is some footage from today's event:

The Duchess looked great. Love the Pansy pussybow silk blouse, the pants are terrific, I personally prefer this type of fit and style. The bangle was a perfect addition and a surprise. A marvellous landmark survey innovation, it will be most interesting to see what transpires from this, great idea.
