The Mirror has published an extract from on upcoming documentary by BBC, where the Duchess of Cambridge discusses her love of tennis ahead of Wimbledon next week.
Kate, who became patron of the All England Tennis Club last year, said: “I have watched Wimbledon, that was very much part of my growing up.
“I was really taken by Agassi and Sampras, Ivanisevic and Steffi Graf. Those are my first memories. Roger [Federer] is my mother’s heartthrob. I don’t think she will mind me saying that! I think he probably knows that too.”
For the interview, Kate wore her red Armani Collezioni skirt suit which she debuted in April for a visit to the Global Academy.
She accessorized the suit with her Mirabelle Lolita Gold Plated Loop Earrings.
The "Our Wimbledon" documentary will screen on BBC1 on Sunday at 5.20pm.
