This morning, members of the royal family attended the annual Remembrance Sunday commemorations at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London. The Duchess of Cambridge attended the ceremony and watched the service from the Foreign Office balcony alongside Vice-Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence (Princess Anne’s husband), the Countess of Wessex and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands.
Queen Maxima's husband, King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands was invited to lay a wreath this year to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands after the end of World War II.
This year, Catherine wore a new bespoke coat from Alexander McQueen.
The double-breasted coat features a patchwork of compact felted wool and velvet. It appears to be a fusion of these two styles from McQueen's Pre-Autumn/Winter 2015 collection.
Kate accessorized with her Annoushka/KIKI pearl drop earrings and Mulberry 'Bayswater' black suede clutch. She also donned three Royal British Legion poppies.
The Duchess topped off her outfit with a new felt hat featuring black netting and a butterfly adornment. The bespoke headpiece is from Sylvia Fletcher for Lock & Co.
This was Kate's fifth Remembrance Sunday service. I'll leave with a look back at her previous attendances.
