Duke & Duchess of Cambridge pay their respects to the victims of Orlando nightclub massacre14/6/2016
In the aftermath of the horrific terrorist attack in Orlando, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the US Embassy in London to express their condolences for the victims and their families.
Upon arrival at the Embassy in Grosvenor Square they were greeted by US Ambassador Matthew Barzun and some of his staff. The royal couple took it in turns to sign the book of condolence. Prince William wrote: 'With our deepest condolences and with our thoughts and prayers to all those affected'. I debated whether to make mention of Kate's outfit and I held off in publishing this post because of this dilemma. I refrained from making reference to Kate's clothing on social media when news broke of their visit because I felt it would be insensitive to take focus away from the victims and their tribute. Hence the reason I published this post a day later. While it may seem frivolousness to comment on Kate's clothing, this blog is dedicated to cataloging Kate's sartorial choices, and I believe it is appropriate to make a brief mention of her outfit in this context.
Kate wore a new dress by Tory Burch - the 'Sophia' Floral Print Dress, her Ralph Lauren peplum jacket, Stuart Weitzman 'Power' pumps and, Kiki McDonough Lauren leaf earrings.
At this point in time, I don't feel comfortable finding repliKate options for this outfit as I normally would. My sincere apologies, but I trust you all understand my position on this.

I see nothing wrong with posting about what she wore and even replicas of her choice of clothing. This is a fashion site is it not? I love fashion. I love to see what royals wear on different occasions in life. There are occasions where there will be funerals and tragedies. It helps to see another side instead of always the bleak and sorrowful. I need escape from the horrors of the world nowadays. I have always loved fashion and fashion is a sort of escapism for me, along with classic movies and good books! Your site is not a criticism of what she wore but instead shows what she chose to wear and how non royal ladies can get the same look for less when they find themselves at the same sort of event and need an appropriate outfit to wear. You obviously take a lot of time and effort to update this site, and I appreciate your site so much. I love coming here and seeing your posts.
