The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hosted the inaugural King’s Cup today on the Isle of Wight.
Originally scheduled for Friday, the yachting regatta had to be held today due to adverse weather conditions forecast for tomorrow. The event is in aid of Kate and William's patronages.

The Duchess arrived at the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes wearing a new Sandro striped frill knit top (US$190).
The terracotta striped cotton-blend top has a fitted silhouette with a round neck, short sleeves, ribbed knit, and finished with flared and frilled trims.
She teamed it with her L.K. Bennett 'Parker' Button Waist Trousers. Coincidentally she first wore these pants for the launch of the King's Cup in March.
She finished the look with her KIKI Lauren Yellow Gold Diamond Pave Leaf Earrings.
Not long after arriving, Kate switched to sailing gear for the regatta.
The crews were outfitted in custom King’s Cup designs by Gill Marine. The pieces included a silver-grey Team Softshell Jacket (US$155), white SailGP Crew Polo (US$60), and blue SailGP Race Cap (US$40).
On her feet Kate wore a new pair of grey mesh sneakers. They are the New Balance 611 Cross Trainer (US$55.95). Thanks to @Japanese_Ginger for the ID.

What a fun look. That top is something! I'm not used to pants where the hem stops way above the ankle.

I loved the sailing gear the Duchess wore for the Regatta. The outfit on arrival is a rare miss for me. I really liked the pants when she wore them previously with the navy and white striped top, it looked great. This top is nice, but not with these pants, for me they don't go together, and the pants in this instance are too baggy for the top

I like the first outfit, but I absolutely love the second(the one she changed into for the sailing). So chic.

I am unsure what to think about the first outfit. I think if the top would have been longer in length it would have been better, but I do love the second outfit for the Regatta.

I like both outfits. I do wonder about Kate's short, is the piece still unidentified?
