The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge carried out engagements in London Bridge and Whitechapel on Tuesday.
They meet with local communities to hear about the challenges they have faced over during the COVID-19 pandemic, and shine a light on individuals and businesses who have gone above and beyond to help others during this extraordinary time.
The royal couple's first stop was the London Bridge Job Centre, where they spoke to a group of customers who had been impacted by Coronavirus and are now receiving support at the centre.
The Duke and Duchess then visited The London Muslim Centre in Whitechapel, where volunteers have supported members of their community by helping to cook and deliver meals and medication to the most vulnerable during the pandemic. Lastly, William and Kate visited East London’s famous Beigel Bake Brick Lane Bakery. The couple heard how the 24-hour bakery has helped the local community through food donation and delivery, and the challenges of reducing their opening hours during the pandemic.
The Duke & Duchess concluded their visit with a lesson in bagel making.

When Kate first wore this dress during a zoom call I didn’t like it at all, but it might be her hair, her entire outfit or just her expressions, which seems to be far more relaxed now even when she’s with a mask, she definitely managed to pull it off very well.

It's lovely to see the Duke and Duchess out and about in London! I didn't like the dress the first time I saw it and I still don't. The dress is dowdy but Kate still manages to look amazing!

I agree. She looked so tired on the video call. Here she looks beautiful and so does the dress

The Duchess looks lovely, the fall and fit of the dress is perfect. Colour suits her well. Great to see them both out at a official engagement, well done to them both.

I don't love this dress personally but it suits Kate and her style. It is also a good modest choice for visiting an Islamic charity and a Jewish bakery. I do love her new hairstyle with these fresh highlights! Beautiful!

Totally agree. I think she got the balance right for these engagements despite my personal dislike of the dress.
