The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Festival of Remembrance on Saturday evening.
The Festival commemorates all those who have lost their lives in conflicts and it is usually attended by the Royal Family. It is organized by the Royal British Legion and is held annually on the eve of Remembrance Sunday.
William and Kate joined Prince Charles, and other senior members of the Royal Family at London's Royal Albert Hall for the British Legion's traditional televised service.

Its lovely to see this dress again, simple, subtle and elegant. Perfect for the occasion. The three strand pearl bracelet and pearl drop earrings were the perfect finishing touch.

When the Duchess first wore this dress to the musical, Dear Evan Hansen in 2020, I was initially underwhelmed by the look. However, I suspect the fabric looks much better close up than it photographs. Both appearances have been in the evening affecting the light that the photos are taken in. When you see the dress on the model against the white background, you can appreciate that it is an elegantly styled dress and moves well. The overall look is occasion appropriate.
