In her first public engagement since lockdown, The Duchess of Cambridge visited Fakenham Garden Centre in Norfolk on Thursday afternoon.
She met the owners and staff. Kate wanted to hear how the Covid-19 pandemic had affected the family-run business, which first opened in 1984.

It's so wonderful to see Kate out and about again, and also supporting her local community! I love how William and Kate coordinated their efforts today following the Queen's message of support to business communities as they continue to reopen following COVID lockdown. The Duke and Duchess are an asset to Her Majesty and serve their country well. They never make it about themselves and that's why Britain loves them!

I love this vest and just ordered it!! Those are also my favorite casual shoes of hers. I agree, it is nice to see them out and about. I know it is a sign of the times and not just them..but seeing just the head on zoom was redundant and all outfits started looking the same to me.

How marvellous for the Garden Centre to receive a visit from the Duchess. She has been a inspiration , quietly getting on with business during the pandemic . I love what she is wearing, totally appropriate for the occasion. It is great to see her out and about again.

It is really fabulous to see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge getting out and about. They are a wonderful couple - steadfast and dedicated to the UK. The Duchess handles everything with elegance.

I tried finding some of the pieces worn by kate in the 'shop kate's style'. I realized a lot of the pieces were not there. I really want to know why?

It comes down to time. I manage a few other blogs while juggling family and a job so I don't always have time to devote to populate the 'Shop Closet' section.
