Kate debuts an electric navy Alexander McQueen pantsuit to open Children's Day Surgery Unit5/12/2023
The Princess of Wales, Patron of Evelina London, officially opened the new Children's Day Surgery Unit on Tuesday.
During the visit, The Princess toured the new unit following the journey a child takes on the day of their surgery. She heard direct from families and staff about the huge impact it is already having and met some of the young individuals who have undergone surgery at the facility.

I'm absolutely enamored with the exquisite color of the suit, and the meticulous tailoring is exceptional. Yet, in the context of this hospital visit, particularly surrounded by children, I find myself wishing Kate had opted for a more inherently feminine ensemble. Perhaps a touch of softness or a subtle play of delicate details would have added an extra layer of warmth and resonance to the occasion.
