The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent the afternoon in Blackpool to visit innovative projects focused on investment and regeneration, and to learn how the seaside resort is leading the way in tackling some of the social and mental health problems faced by people in Britain today.

Kate braved the rain on arrival and rugged up against the elements in her dark green Sportsmax coat.
The familiar piece has been worn on a number of occasions since its debut on Christmas Day in 2015.
The jewel green dress features a classic collar, long sleeves, a front button fastening, a belted waist and a mid-calf length. It was sold at Coogles and Farfetch with a retail price of £225.
Other new pieces included a black scarf and suede gloves which remain unidentified.
The Duchess carried her green Manu Atelier Micro Bold Leather Top Handle Bag.
Kate wore black suede high heel boots, first seen at the RAF Christmas party at Kensington Palace. @MiddletonMaven suggests they could be an older style by Ralph Lauren. They look like a perfect match to me!
Today we saw the return of the Kiki Green Amethyst Cushion & Diamond Earrings.
The Duchess opted for a chic ponytail.

Green is Kate's color! A perfect outfit for a rainy day in Blackpool, and the ponytail is a great choice for wet weather, too.

Not crazy about the peacock dress all by itself BUT Kate looks good when she's got the entire outfit together though. Green coat, green dress, green boots, green purse....the entire look just very polished.

You're right Wendy. Her boots are black. At first, I thought they were very very dark green. Anyways, her green, green, green with black, black, black looks so coordinated. Kate looks great.
