The Duchess of Cambridge was back on royal duty today visiting the Reach Academy Feltham for her first official engagement of 2018.
The school works in partnership with Place2Be to support pupils and families. Kate attended in her role as the charity's patron, reflecting her interest in children’s mental health and the importance of supporting children and families to give kids the best possible start in life.
For her first day back at work Kate debuted the HOBBS 'Gianna' coat in navy wool (thanks to @marybozzoli via Twitter for the ID). Taking inspiration from the traditional riding coat, the Gianna is a modern classic. Made in beautiful French navy wool, it is tailored and has a dramatic femininity achieved by the flared skirt and black detailing. The curved collar and pewter buttons add an extra equestrian touch.
Under the coat the Duchess wore her Seraphine 'Florrie' dress. You may recall she first wore it when pregnant with Princess Charlotte for a day of engagements in Kensington in January of 2015.
Kate coordinated the outfit with her navy Stuart Weitzman 'Muse' suede clutch and Jimmy Choo 'Georgia' Navy Suede Pumps.
She also wore her Ballon Bleu de Cartier Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch.
She finished the ensemble with her sapphire and diamond earrings.
