The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge commemorated Windrush Day with a number of events in London.
It recognises the migrant contribution to UK society, on the day when the first big group of post-war migrants from the Caribbean arrived in Britain aboard the Empire Windrush ship on 22 June 1948.
The Duke and Duchess started with a visit to ELEVATE in Brixton - an organization that offers learning, enrichment, training, and work opportunities for young adults.
Following this visit, the royal couple headed to Waterloo Station for the unveiling the National Windrush Monument with Baroness Floella Benjamin, head of the Windrush Commemoration Committee.
