The Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to Brookhill Children’s Centre in Woolwich to learn more about Home-Start. The charity supports children and families who faces pressures caused by isolation, mental ill health, multiple births, bereavement, disability, poor housing or financial stress. The Duchess arrived wearing a black overcoat and a sweet polka dot dress from online retailer ASOS. She wore the ASOS Maternity Exclusive Wrap Skater Dress in Spot Print with 3/4 Sleeve which was available but sold out within minutes of the Duchess wearing it! However, I'm confident ASOS will restock it as they did the navy maternity dress. I get the impression our Duchess is quite fond of polka dot dresses ;) You may recall the Topshop Florence frock she wore during her first pregnancy, and of course the custom Jenny Packham conflower dress she wore when leaving the hospital with Prince George. The black coat Kate wore today has been in her closet for many years but remained unidentified. Today Kensington Palace revealed it was made by her private dressmaker. We last saw the Duchess wearing it in 2012. The coat has a ruffle trim along the placket. Kate accessorized the outfit with her trusty black suede Mulberry 'Bayswater' clutch and Stuart Weiztman 'Power' pumps. She kept her jewellery understated, combining the Mappin & Webb 'Fortune' necklace with KIKI Morganite cushion drop & diamond earrings, and Cartier Ballon Blue wristwatch. I honestly thought this would be the last engagement for Kate before the birth of Baby Cambridge #2. However, Kensington Palace has just announced that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will undertake 3 engagements in South London on 27th March! The royal couple will visit the Stephen Lawrence Centre, Deptford, to tour the facility and meet Charitable Trust members. This will be followed by a visit to XLP in Gipsy Hill, a charity working to create positive futures for young people from inner London boroughs to watch an Arts Showcase presentation by young performers who have been through XLP’s Arts Programme. And finally, the Duke and Duchess will visit an XLP community bus and the XLP mobile recording studio on the Hazel Grove Estate, Sydenham. REPLIKATE THE LOOK FOR LESS ...
