The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are in Belgium for official commemorations marking the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Passchendaele. Today they visited Bedford House, the final resting place of more than 5,000 Commonwealth Servicemen of WWI.
They were joined by Prince Charles for the commemoration service in Ypres, as well as the King and Queen of Belgium, and UK Prime Minister Theresa May.
The Duchess debuted the Catherine Walker 'Melrose' coatdress for the solemn occasion. It is rendered in a delicate dusty pink Venetian wool with hand applique taupe corded lace spreading up from the hem and cuff.
Here's a look at the back of the coat.
Kate carried her pink Prada satin logo clutch.
On her feet were a new pair of suede pumps.
You may be forgiven for thinking they look just like her Gianvito Rossi 'Gianvito 105' Praline Suede Pumps, but Kate opted for the lower heeled 'Gianvito 85' style. Below we show them side-by-side.
The Duchess accessorized with Princess Diana's Collingwood diamond and pearl drop earrings, and a brooch we’ve not seen her wear before. It is another piece on loan from the Queen, featuring three large mabé pearls set on a pavé diamond leaf motif.
Kate topped off the look with a new Jane Taylor hat, complemented with a pretty up-do.
