The Duchess of Cambridge, patron of 100 Women in Finance Philanthropic Initiatives, attended a gala dinner at the V&A Museum London on Wednesday night in aid of Heads Together legacy programme ‘Mentally Healthy Schools’.
Kate looked every inch the princess in a glamorous gown by Italian fashion house, Gucci.
The bespoke floor-length dress featured delicate layers of pleated tulle in a soft array of pinks. She complemented the romantic hues with a burgundy velvet waistband. An apt choice on the eve of Valentine's Day!
The dazzling earrings are the Kiki McDonough morganite double drop earrings which she first wore to Pippa's wedding in 2017.
Kate appears to have accessorized with the burgundy velvet clutch she carried at Princess Eugenie's wedding.
It is the Prada 'Rosa' minaudiere (US$600) shown below in a satin finish.
The shoes appear to be her Oscar de la Renta Platinum Lamé Cabrina Pumps.
The Duchess had her hair styled in a half up-do.
FASHION FLASHBACK
This is the fourth occasion the Duchess has attended the 100 Women in Hedge Funds (now Finance) gala. For her first attendance in 2011 she donned a red Beulah number.
In 2013 she wore the Jenny Packham Ink Blue Silk Tulle Gown.
For the 2015 100 Women in Hedge Funds gala, Kate stepped out in a bold floral gown by Erdem.

The dress is glamorous but I can;t help but feel Kate look a little washed out in this color. Regardless, she looks every inch the princess!

An extraordinary gown, at once so simple and yet so cunning with that completely unusual contrast bodice band which takes a diversion over the arms as well. Extraordinary. I was reminded of the purple the clutch and belt Kate wore with her grey tweed Erdem to another V&A event though these are quite different, and add a welcome touch of definition to the floating dress fabric. Thanks so much for reminding me where we had seen those earrings before, they are spot on with this Gucci dress. Kate is in her prime here.

The dress is such a beautiful color and it looks like Kate is wearing eyeshadow to match.

the dress is lovely except the weird contrasting on the bodice. I do not like that. The rest is stunning.

I agree with e every word you said, she looks lovely. Thou there are a few issues, the pleated tulle shirt needed to be cut at least inch and a half shorter in the front, because in all the pictures you can see Kate stepping on the material. I think the waistline that was accent with a velvet band was requested by Kate, it should have been tack so it did not move around. I have said this before, there should be a in-house tailor that does these last minute alterations when there are changes with shoes, belts etc.

The Duchess looks lovely. Personally not a fan of the dress, the top area looks like bandaging. Her accessories, YES the handbag really nice and shoes a total win.

Catherine looks beautiful as always . I really like this dress, the colors are very beautiful, the hairstyle, makeup, and accessories are on point. Even though I like this dress I don't think it will be beat the beautiful white McQueen from Sunday. Catherine has been on point lately and I'm here for it because I think she has a new stylist since her current stylist Natasha is on maternity leave. Looking forward to see the Cambridges again soon.
