The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge capped off their second day of Royal Visit Ireland with a reception in Dublin hosted by the acting Tanaiste, Simon Coveney.
Kate wore a vintage pink polka-dot Oscar de La Renta dress with a ruffled neckline and black velvet waistband for the function at the city's Museum of Literature.
Her accessories included the black Jimmy Choo 'Celeste' Velvet Clutch and the designer's 'Romy 100' Black Velvet Pumps.
The Duchess debuted Accessorize Twisted Circle Drop Earrings (£5.00). These these elegant gold-tone earrings feature a hoop drop pendant with a textured, twisted surface. ID by @replicateroyals.

What a busy itinerary! I think she chose appropriate attire for all the engagements today.

I think the bold pink colour in the Oscar de la Renta dress really suits Duchess Kate. The style might look a tad fussy round the neckline but she carries it off well. She is relaxed and stylish. She has worn a variety of high end jeweller and High St earrings on this trip but none look out of place. Thumbs up for the lovely clutch and shoes.

What does it mean to be “vintage”? Is this a used dress or simply an older dress. Any idea what year this collection would have been?

Unfortunately, Kensington Palace did not provide any further information about the dress. They just simply stated it was vintage.

This is a full on Monet for me (clueless anyone, anyone???) I like the whole look from far away...but up close...nope. I do like her hair like this..it is different..yet still looks polished.

This outfit is a different style for the Duchess but I really like it. I don't mind the ruffles at the neckline at all, its unusual and adds interest. The colour is fantastic. Beautiful accessories, clutch and shoes. Love the twisted circle drop earrings. and affordable price.

I wonder if she borrowed the dress from her mother's closet?

That is a full-on Princess Diana look from the mid to late 80s. It may even be one of hers. No mistaking that look.
