Following this morning's visit to Islamabad Model College and Margalla Hills, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent the afternoon meeting Pakistan's political leaders.
They first called in on The President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, and First Lady Samina Alvi at the Presidential Palace in Islamabad. William and Kate then had lunch with Pakistan's Prime Minister, Imran Khan who was a friend of Princess Diana. Kate wore a bright green tunic-inspired coat by Catherine Walker, and cream trousers by Pakistani fashion designer Maheen Khan for this afternoon's engagements. The coat is based off Catherine Walker's 'Nero' style made from silk shantung. The single breasted coat has covered buttons down the front and is fashioned with sharp shoulders and a swing skirt. The Duchess draped a green printed chiffon dupatta from local retailer Bonanza Satrangi ($11) on her left shoulder.
She complemented the dark green hue of the scarf with her 'greenery' suede Emmy London 'Natasha' clutch and coordinating 'Rebecca' pumps.
Kate finished the look with her Zeen Dazzling Ceramic Drop Earrings.

I have no words to describe this! The Duchess is the epitome of beauty and elegance, dressed in vibrant colours and local patterns, she breathes fresh air into a very traditional clothing style. Her outfits have been on point during this tour so far, I just can't wait for her next engagement!

Completely agree. This is a very inventive and modern way to dress appropriately in this country. She just as easily could have worn this to a museum opening in London. Beautiful scarf.

Stand out color on the coat and the accessories are well matched. I would like to see the back of her hair because it looks interesting in the pictures.

Kate's tour wardrobe is taking my breath away. The bold colour palette, the empathetic design considerations, the considered accessories all present a polished, elegant and very wearable look.

Another lovely outfit, perfect choice. The coat is a good fit and looks fantastic with the cream pants. The printed chiffon scarf adds colour. Love the choice of clutch and shoes.

I thought for a moment I might be getting tired of seeing Kate in traditional style again, but when I took a closer look at the Catherine Walker any objections flew out the window. Such a fresh sharp green and well-suited to Kate.
