Kate is picture-perfect in pink for Prince Charles' 70th Birthday Bash

Last night the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined the royal family to celebrate Prince Charles' 70th birthday with a glittering black-tie dinner hosted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace.

Kate was pictured arriving for the birthday bash wearing a pink one-shoulder dress with floral applique, and her exquisite tear drop earrings featuring a large pink gem stone surrounded by diamonds and set in gold. We first got a glimpse of them at the 100 Women in Hedge Funds Gala in 2011, and Kate wore them again for the 2017 BAFTAs. Their provenance remains unknown.

Kate looks so good in that 1st pic already. Yes, the gown must look very pretty. One shoulder ping flowers. Nice hair & earrings.

I want to see more of this dress!! Her hair, make up, everything is so perfect. And then Meghan arrives in a...spoiler alert...dark dress. Ugh.

Serious question....any ideas where these amazing earrings come from? Both this one and the ones that Meghan is wearing...are they from the royal family...are they made from royal jewels? Is this something all the wives receive at some point? They both have sizable earrings from huge diamonds that no one wants to talk about...except me..I want to talk about it!!

I want to talk about it too :) But unfortunately the palace has not released any information about these earrings. In the case of Meghan's earrings, all the palace said was that they were "borrowed." I want to know more!
