The Duchess of Cambridge was at London’s Design Museum this afternoon to present the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design.
The event is hosted by the British Fashion Council, and the award was initiated in 2018 to recognize the role the fashion industry plays in society and diplomacy, and the creativity of young British designers that are making a difference through either sustainable practices or community engagement.
This year's recipient was Saul Nash, a British menswear designer and choreographer whose designs exist to bridge the gap between Luxury Menswear and Sportswear.

I love the color and the material of the dress, but not the belt or the ties on the sleeves.

This dress has some lovely features. The cowl neckline, flared skirt, I love the drooped shoulders. The tassels on the sleeves are a distraction and unnecessary, I don't like these at all. The belt buckles are another feature I don't like. The color is gorgeous, suits the Duchess, the length of the dress is perfect. I like the color of her shoes and clutch. The earrings are lovely. Regardless of my tastes the Duchess looked beautiful.

Swimming against the tide here, but I really like this dress and the entire outfit is well put together. Love the support of an emerging designer.
