DRESS: NEW! Alessandra Rich Belted Polka-dot Silk Midi Dress in Azure Blue (£1,595). Kate's dress does not appear to have the crystal embellished details on the belt buckle and shoulder buttons.

This is a beautiful dress, the skirt falls beautifully. Love the color. Her white shoes look great. Her pearl drop earrings are stunning, I love these earrings.

I was really glad to see that the Duchess had the dress simplified, for example getting rid of the embellished buckle on the belt. I often feel that Alessandra Rich puts in too many overpowering details in her clothing that ultimately don't allow you to see some of the lovely features/details of the design.

The minor changes to this dress with the covered buttons and buckle make it more accessible and less glitzy. This is a lovely blue colour on her. I hope we see this dress again in a more formal situation. The earrings pick up on the polka dots in the dress. The white shoes work with this dress. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
