The Duchess of Cambridge was at the BAFTA headquarters in central London this morning to deliver a keynote address to launch the "Taking Action on Addiction" campaign led by the Forward Trust.
The Duchess became royal patron of the charity in June, and this new initiative is a long-term campaign which will work to improve awareness and understanding of addiction.

Such a sizzling outfit, Kate is on fire for her addiction project! A strong red looks well on her and she's one of the few who can make midi-length look glamorous and sophisticated. I love the repeat DeMellier and Lauren accessories, and the ASOS twisted gold hoops add welcome texture to the bodice area.

These type of pleated skirts are a favorite of mine, and this one is very appealing to me. I love the length, it sits well and the colour is superb. The Cashmere Turtleneck jumper is divine. The choice of accessories are perfect. The Duchess looks beautiful.

This is an eye catching look for the Duchess in her top to ankle red jersey and skirt, complemented by the toffee tones of her bag and shoes. Who would have thought a matching turtle neck top and pleated skirt could be so effective? I wonder if the unidentified beige pleated skirt, worn on 7th May to the Hold Still launch, with the same handbag and shoes is also a Christopher Kane skirt.

Great look! The sweater and skirt are a perfect fit and colour for the Duchess. I love the length of the skirt, it is a flattering length for everyone. The Duchess was also right in keeping the jewellery to a minimum. The purse and shoes were perfect.
