The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge ended the first day of their official visit to Northern Ireland at the iconic Empire Music Hall in Belfast.

Kate and William attended an informal reception celebrating young people who are making a real difference in Northern Ireland. The royal couple got the party started by each pulling a pint of Harp!

Guests encompassed representatives from Northern Ireland’s business, arts and sport sectors, including Dame Mary Peters who was today appointed Lady Companion of the Most Noble of the Garter by Her Majesty The Queen.

The Duchess looked magnificent in a new mint metallic lurex midi dress by Missoni (£1,590). The whisper-weight cocktail dress is woven with shimmering threads and has an elegant V-shaped neckline with a pleated midi skirt.
Other new pieces included a demi-parure from Kiki McDonough's 'Candy' collection.
Kate wore the KIKI 'Candy' mini green amethyst & diamond earrings (£1,750), and the KIKI 'Candy' mini green amethyst and diamond pendant necklace set in yellow gold (£1,250).
The Duchess offset the dazzling ensemble with her Gianvito Rossi 'Gianvito 105' Praline Suede Pumps, and Mulberry 'Baywater' clutch.
Unfortunately I will not be able to cover the remaining events of the royal visit to Northern Ireland as I will be away. I will do catch up posts when I return on Tuesday.

The Duchess looks beautiful. This dress is feminine, soft and a lovely mint colour, suits her so well. Understated jewellery I love. Her makeup and hair look gorgeous. I love the colour of her shoes and handbag.

Kate looks amazing. What a great dress. The unique colour and shimmer is gorgeous! Perhaps the hemline should be a little shorter. Love the earrings, and necklace. Would have liked her hair up in a stylish bun to match the dress.

Is anyone new styling her these days as her usual one just had a baby? Her sartorial choices are so much more chic lately.

I see a few photos with William, even though this is Kate’s Closet, I feel some observation of all the photos I like Kate’s choice of pumps and clutch💚, she was trying not to take away from the beauty of the dress. I immediately notice William’s shoes, they should have been navy suede and then no tie a casual look. Since Kate’s dress is a little more dressy, William should have wore a dark Green tweed blazer with pale green shirt and black trousers & shoes. He needs to invest in a fewer more blazers and shoes to compliment Kate’s outfits. I hope the staff that helps pick out their wardrobe reads some of these suggestions and observations, all with Love ❤️.
