The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined Her Majesty for Sunday service at the Church of St Mary Magdalene on the Queen's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
The royals were joined by Kate's parents, Michael and Carole Middleton. The Duchess rugged up in a new coat by Roksanda, the ‘Denton’ style (US$3,405) from the designer's 2016 collection.
The fuzzy wool-blend fabric is a mix of dark blue and orange hues, and the mid-length coat features a funnel neck with bar-shaped copper-toned hardware closures. It also has lightly padded shoulders, front slit pockets, and a back vent. Made in England, the coat is fully lined in silk.
Kate complemented the coat with a navy Hicks & Brown 'Suffolk' wool felt fedora (£95) featuring a pheasant feather wrap. It's hard to say for certain, but I believe Kate wore her chocolate brown Cornelia James 'Imogen' gloves. We also saw the return of the cola brown Stuart Weitzman 'Zipkin' Suede Boots which Kate has not worn (in public) since 2013!
The Duchess topped off the look with the Sapphire & Diamond Oval Drop 'Diana' Earrings.

The Duchess of Cambridge looks fresh and modern in this winter outfit. The wool blend fabric in the Roksanda coat provides an interesting texture, which is lifted by the mixed but complementary colour palette. The navy fedora sets off the overall look. Thumbs up to Duchess Kate and her team for trying a different look, which she has pulled off successfully.

Kate mixed a bit of orange, blue that. Boots here, top it with a hat. It all ends up as perfect. How did she do it? Good for you Kate! Probably one of my favourite looks of hers. Very unexpected. Love it!

LOVE this outfit! Perfect in every way...especially the pop of color with the blue fedora! Elizabeth, I'm praying for you and your lovely country. The wild fires are horrific and I hope and pray they will go away quickly.

Thank you Page. The persistent smoke in the air is a constant reminder of how dire the situation is. So much destruction, and the loss lives, homes, and wildlife is too much to bear. We've had a little bit of rain these past couple of days but unfortunately it's not enough. February is usually our hottest month so I'm fearful of what's yet to come.

This is Kate’s weekend celebrations with friends & family for her birthday where Kate wore a coat with a beautiful combo of colors that brings out her artistic taste with a country chic fedora blue hat that looks great on her and love the whole look 💙. This new sheik coat was created in 2016 and presume purchased, that means Kate finally had the right opportunity to wear a outfit that reflected the occasion. I believe we are going to see a lot more outfits previously made, because I have read somewhere you need 5 or so different outfits changes a day when attending Sandringham Christmas weekend festivities. I know if I was attending, I would have a few extra outfits/coats just in case the weather change or other factors. This modern look is a win!🎊🎂

So effortless and cool! The hat is really unexpected for winter time. I never know what to wear when the weather is bad but I'll be taking style tips from Kate!

I am so on the fence about this look. I don’t like the fuzziness of it and don’t like the hat...but I love that she is experimenting and taking risks and that her hat coordinates perfectly with william’s suit.
