The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge marked Canada Day on Wednesday with a video call to staff at Fraser Health's Surrey Memorial Hospital in British Columbia.
William and Kate thanked frontline workers across the country for their amazing work protecting and supporting their communities.
The Duchess showed sartorial diplomacy by sporting Canada's national colours- red and white. The new piece appears to be the Alexander McQueen tweed shift dress (ID by @PamWalters1 on Twitter).
I suspect Kate may have added some length to this mini dress from McQueen's 2017 ready-to-wear collection. Made in Italy, this tailored tweed shift dress features a jewel neck, short sleeves, hidden back zipper, and is finished with a silk lining. Below is a closer look at the cotton/wool blend tweed fabric in a mix of red, white and black.
It was hard to get a good look at Kate's earrings, but they appear to be a hoop style.

I first saw this picture on MailOnline and want to know who made the outfit, I am surprised that it is Alexander McQueen, because it look so modern and simple, that I love. The red tweed pattern is manifested and makes the whole dress more interesting, if I could afford this dress it would be in my closet, Kate needs to wear more red and hope to see it again real soon from head to toe ❤️.
