The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford
in Gloucestershire today, and they brought along a very special guest!
Prince George joined his parents at this family-orientated event, and prior to their visit Kensington Palace said: "The Duke and Duchess know that George will enjoy seeing the aircraft up close".
The Air Tattoo is the the world's largest military airshow and is held annually in support of the RAF Charitable Trust. The Duchess was present in her role as patron of the Air Cadets. This year the airshow will stage official celebrations marking the Air Cadets' 75th anniversary. Both she and the Duke met some of the Air Cadets during their visit.
For today's outing, the Duchess donned a familiar combination of her ultra-blue Stella McCartney 'Ridley' dress and navy Smythe single button blazer.
Kate has worn the pieces separately on many occasions and today was the third time she had paired this combination:
It was extremely windy at the airfield today so Kate popped on a leopard printed Alice band to keep her hair from whipping around her face. You may recall we first spotted Kate wearing the mystery headband at the Houghton International Horse trials in May.
On her feet were the modestly heeled LK Bennett 'Floret' nude leather pumps.
Kate's jewelry included her KIKI Lauren Yellow Gold Diamond Pave Leaf Earrings and Carteir watch.
There are so many delightful photos of the young royal family enjoying their time at the airshow. It's beyond the scope of this blog to cover all the details so I encourage you to check at more photos at Getty Images.
