The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released a new family portrait this morning, which will serve as the royal couple's Christmas card.
The snap shows Prince William, Duchess Catherine and their two children, Prince George, 2, and Princess Charlotte, 7 months, casually posing in the gardens of Kensington Palace.
The Palace revealed the snap was taken by photographer Chris Jelf in late October, and issued the following statement along with the photo:
"The Duke and Duchess are hugely appreciative of all the warm messages they have received about their family this year," the palace said in a press release, adding that the couple "are very much looking forward to their first Christmas as a family of four."
The Duchess was casually dressed in a grey v-neck sweater with blue shirt, skinny jeans, navy plimsolls and her sapphire and diamond earrings. It's difficult to identify Kate's outfit from this photo.
At best, we can speculate about the brand of shoes she wore. Her navy sneakers look very similar to her Mint Velvet 'Bibi' taupe plimsolls.
This style was also available in navy blue suede so it's highly likely this is the model she is wearing.
Other possible styles could be these from Jigsaw and Ralph Lauren:
The grey jumper may be the same one she wore to the rugby match while on tour in Australia.
We may never know the exact details of Kate's ensemble, but we can all admire how impeccably polished she looks even when dressed casually! You can steal her style for less with the repliKate options below!
