The Princess of Wales attended the annual National Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London on Sunday morning. She watched the service from the Foreign Office central balcony alongside Camila, Queen Consort.
King Charles III led the nation in Remembrance and was joined at the Cenotaph by his siblings, Prince Edward and Princess Anne, and his son, Prince William.
The Princess debuted a black coatdress by Catherine Walker.
It is the 'Evie' style featuring diagonal pintuck details across the chest and shoulder. IDed by to Irène via What Kate Wore.
She also added a new Philip Treacy wide brim hat. The black felt headwear appears to be a custom design based on a AW20 collection piece as noted by UFO No More.
Kate accessoried with Princess Diana's horseshoe diamond & pearl drop earrings, and she secured a cluster of three paper poppies with a new diamond brooch.
Sarah from UFO No More identified the piece as the Art Deco Diamond Set Brooch sold by Bentley & Skinner (£14,500). It is a genuine 1920's Art Deco brooch featuring geometric shapes and fine openwork platinum set with diamonds totally around 4.5 carats.
Kate wore her black Cornelia James 'Alice' gloves, and carried her Mulberry 'Bayswater' Clutch in Black Suede.

I don't personally like the hat, but it's understandable that she may have wanted something to that provided more coverage because she looks quite emotional in the pictures. The rest of the outfit is lovely!

I thought she looked beautiful and regal here, and despite the accusations of being matronly, I feel like her hair here kept her looking youthful, especially from the back. She is 40 after all so I am happy that she is dressing appropriately for her age.

The Princess of Wales looks stunning. The coat is simple but the pin tucks add an element of interest. The jewellery is perfect. I love the diamond pin. It works beautifully with the coat. The hat adds a touch of drama and really makes the whole ensemble stand out.

This is a beautiful and elegant outfit. I love the bodice and neckline, its unusual. The hat is divine, suits the Princess perfectly. These beautiful earrings are gorgeous and look wonderful with the outfit. The art deco brooch is of substance and is beautiful. Makeup is spot on

This is such a fantastic coat and a welcome relief from the many double-breasted styles Kate has understandably picked in the past. This is so much less obviously military with the lovely radiating pintucks circling out from the collar to break up the foldover neckline.

This is a very polished look as is the norm for the Princess of Wales. The pintucking detail on the coat looks to be a simple embellishment that has been executed very well by the designer and seamstress. The large art deco brooch suits the neckline and design of this coat. Thumbs up to the lovely new hat.
