The Prince and Princess of Wales kicked off a new year of royal engagements in Merseyside on Thursday, where the couple visited a hospital and a mental health organisation.

On arrival, William and Kate toured the redeveloped Royal Liverpool University Hospital which opened its doors in October 2022.
Later, the royal couple visited the Open Door Charity in Birkenhead, a charity focused on supporting young adults across Merseyside with their mental health, using culture and creativity as the catalyst for change.

Nice color ( burgundy-ish nice change from black) warm coat ( I live in MN). I am 5'2 about 120 lbs and it is a bit small around the chest and stomach. ( I am proportionate.) I purchased a small, sleeves quite long. Other than a few minor issues for me, I am keeping the coat.

Its wonderful to see a rewear of this beautiful double breasted coat. The Navy maxi dress looks fabulous, the accessories, perfect. Love the shoes and bag. The Sapphire and diamond earrings are beautiful.

Are we sure that the black and navy Cefinn dress aren’t the same dress? We never got a good look at the black one to make sure it wasn’t actually a dark navy.

There is no way of knowing with 100% certainty unless Kate wears it again in black. The reason I suspect it was black was because this was worn during the period of mourning following the passing of QEII where wearing black is a requirement and mark of respect. I'm not sure Kate would have been lax with this tradition.
