Catherine, Princess of Wales visited the Oxford House Nursing Home on Tuesday in Slough, England.
The nursing home is family-run and residents are cared for in a homely and comfortable environment, with innovative technology helping enrich their daily lives.
During the visit, the Princess celebrated Shrove Tuesday with residents and staff, and even helped flip some pancakes!

While looking at the lovely post my mother over my shoulder said as I gazed at the photo of the Princesses earrings I have pair of earrings like that. I wouldn't be surprised if a picture of Carole Middleton was found with the earrings as my mothers purchased earrings like this in the very late 70's & 80's. As a matter a fact as I see blue I always remember Diana & her love of costume jewelry. My mother copied a few of her enamel studs she saw in fashion magazines back then, I wouldn't be surprised if maybe their a unseen pair owned by Diana. The earring do not look new, the gold painted on the blue is where you see it. Genius post as always great picture & detail I always run to you blogs on a regular bases!

A lovely professional look for Kate on a visit where she successfully kept the focus on those she visited. The Max& Co coat hangs so nicely when open and looks better to my mind worn with navy separates.

OMG again wearing a top back to front - check the shoulder seams. She did the same mistake with a purple blouse some time ago ...

With that kind of shirt I don't think it matters which orientation you wear it and I loved the look of her purple blouse with the pussy bow in the front rather than in the back... I think that was an intentional choice.

I think you are mistaken about the shoulder seams. I have various shirts and jumpers with seams like those...its the style. Seams aren't always right on top of the shoulders.

This is a straightford understated look, Navy color works beautifully, love it. The pants and turtleneck sweater are great. Love the shoes and small mini bag, gorgeous. Very elegant ensemble, the camel coat was a welcome addition. Hair and makeup looked fabulous. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
