The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge bade farewell to Sweden this morning, and boarded a private jet bound for Oslo to begin the Norwegian leg of the royal tour. On arrival they were greeted by Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit.
Kate was back in Catherine Walker for the third consecutive day. This time she wore a teal number featuring a funnel neck.
Kate teamed the coat with her trusty combination of black Mulberry 'Bayswater' Suede Clutch and Tod's Suede Block Heel Pumps.
She accessorized with her Sapphire & Diamond Oval Drop Earrings and Cornelia James 'Beatrice' black wool gloves.
William and Kate's first stop was the Royal Palace in central Oslo for a luncheon with the Norwegian Royal Family. They were welcomed by King Harald V of Norway and his wife Queen Sonja.
The Duchess removed her coat to reveal the Seraphine 'Marlene' maternity cocktail dress (£169). The frock has a lace bodice lined in comfortable stretch jersey, while the elegant long sleeves are made in stylish peek-a-boo lace, with subtle bell detailing at the cuffs. The fitted lace top is contrasted with a soft woven skirt, and velvet ribbon detailing at the empire waist, cuffs and collar complete the look.
After lunch, the Duke and Duchess headed outside to visit the Princess Ingrid Alexandra Sculpture Park within the Palace Gardens. The sculptures, of which there are now four, are designed by and for children, through cartoon competitions in schools across the country.
Kate rugged up for the walkabout and wore her chocolate brown Lacorine ‘Sumac’ hat and Cornelia James ‘Clementine’ gloves also in chocolate brown. We first saw these pieces when Kate attended church services at Sandringham in January.
She coordinated the accessories with her Stuart Weitzman 'Muse' clutch in a matching chocolate hue.
Kate also changed her footwear and wore a new pair of brown Stuart Weitzman 'HalfNHalf' boots (£455) - a style she also owns in black. These knee-high boots are a collaboration between Stuart Weitzman and Russell & Bromley. Rendered in luxurious brown suede with a low block heel these boots are detailed with trademark stretch panel at the back for a clean fit and elongated silhouette.
This evening, The Duke and Duchess will attend an official dinner in their honour at the Royal Palace.
Unfortunately I will not be able to cover the remaining events of the royal tour as I will be on vacation starting tomorrow. It's now midnight in my part of the world and I still haven't packed! I will do catch up posts when I return in mid February. - Elizabeth xo
