The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continued their royal tour of Germany today with a trip to one of the country's most enchanting cities, Heidelberg, which has been twinned with Cambridge since 1965.
Despite the grey skies on arrival, Kate looked radiant in a sunshine yellow dress by Jenny Packham. The floral jacquard dress is a bespoke piece from the British fashion designer.
The Duchess accessorized with new Oscar de la Renta Pearl Sun Star Button Earrings (US$175) - ID by @katiesroyallove on Twitter. The earrings are currently available at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.
On her feet she wore her trusty Monsoon Fleur Taupe Suede Espadrille Wedges.
She coordinated the shoes with her sandy hued Alexander McQueen suede clutch. First seen in September 2012, the piece is a modified version the original clutch shown below in grey which features the signature McQueen skull clasp. Kate had hers customised with something a little more demure.
Rounding out the outfit was her Cartier Ballon Bleu Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch.
Kate and William's first stop was the German Cancer Research Centre to visit the stem cell laboratory and learn more about the important work being done there.
Following the lab tour, the royal couple proceeded to the town centre toward the central market square for a lesson in pretzel making.
Kate and William wandered through the market and made their way to the river Neckar for the highlight rowing event.
The Duke and Duchess changed into something more appropriate to embark on a rowing boat each for a friendly competition, joined by rowers from both Cambridge and Heidelberg.
Kate sported a new blue breton striped top by Hugo Boss.
It is the 'Tamarini' t-shirt (€84.90) from the BOSS ORANGE line. The relaxed-fit jersey top features engineered stripes and 3/4 sleeves with drop-shoulder seams.
During the race (which Kate's team unfortunately lost) she popped on her Ray-Ban Folding Wayfarer Sunglasses.
The Duke and Duchess will return to Berlin to attend a reception in the hall of Clärchens Ballhaus for some of the most creative, innovative, and exciting new names in the world of art, culture, style, fashion and technology in the city.

I can hardly believe the Lela Rose looks so similar! I see Kate has abandoned that Kate has abandoned the kind of yellow Peckham that results in a fly-away shirt dress, the brocade looks a lot more stable. A very sweet outfit - love the new earrings.

You are always so kind Page xx I'm not sure about her jeans. They are most likely by Zara.
