It has been a year since Queen Elizabeth II's passing, and today, the Prince and Princess of Wales led public tributes on behalf of the royal family, while King Charles privately observed the anniversary of his mother's death at Balmoral.
The couple visited St Davids Cathedral in Wales to pay homage to the life and legacy of the late Queen with a small private service.
After the service, William and Kate met with community members in the adjacent cloister who had the opportunity to meet the monarch during her remarkable 70-year reign. They also stopped to chat with local residents who had gathered outside the church.
