The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hosted a reception on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen at Buckingham Palace on Monday evening to mark the UK-Africa Investment Summit.
The royal couple were joined by the Earl and Countess of Wessex, and The Princess Royal.
Kate with Sophie (on her 55th birthday!) during the reception. The royals welcomed Heads of State and Government officials attending the UK-Africa Investment Summit. The 'Aurora' gown from the brand's SS20 'Love Hearts' collection is a mix of lightweight tulle and heavy embellishment. Inspired by Victorian style - the sequins on this 'Aurora' gown are specially placed to resemble the intricate patterns of vintage lace. The slim silhouette is finished with ruffle trims along the neckline and shoulders.
The gown in also available in beige and blue at Net-a-Porter.
A shorter version of the 'Aurora' style is available at Net-A-Porter.
The Duchess teamed it with her red pony hair Jenny Packham 'Casa' clutch and red suede Gianvito Rossi pumps.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were in Bradford today where they visited a number of projects which support community cohesion in the diverse city of Yorkshire.
The royal couple received a warm welcome from the locals outside City Hall in Centenary Square.
The Duke and Duchess then popped into MyLahore’s flagship restaurant to learn about some of the charitable work that the restaurant does to support the community. William and Kate then visited one of Bradford’s Khidmat Centres, whose main focus is to help the most vulnerable members of the community from minority ethnic backgrounds. For their final stop in Bradford, The Duke and Duchess joined a workshop run by Near Neighbours. The organisation brings people together in communities across the UK that are religiously and ethnically diverse, so that they can get to know each other better, build relationships of trust, and collaborate together on initiatives that improve the local community that they live in.
Kensington Palace posted a lovely video of Kate and William's day out in Bradford.
KATE'S OUTFIT
COAT: NEW! Alexander McQueen forest green midi coat (bespoke).
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined Her Majesty for Sunday service at the Church of St Mary Magdalene on the Queen's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
The royals were joined by Kate's parents, Michael and Carole Middleton. The Duchess rugged up in a new coat by Roksanda, the ‘Denton’ style (US$3,405) from the designer's 2016 collection.
The fuzzy wool-blend fabric is a mix of dark blue and orange hues, and the mid-length coat features a funnel neck with bar-shaped copper-toned hardware closures. It also has lightly padded shoulders, front slit pockets, and a back vent. Made in England, the coat is fully lined in silk.
Kate complemented the coat with a navy Hicks & Brown 'Suffolk' wool felt fedora (£95) featuring a pheasant feather wrap. It's hard to say for certain, but I believe Kate wore her chocolate brown Cornelia James 'Imogen' gloves. We also saw the return of the cola brown Stuart Weitzman 'Zipkin' Suede Boots which Kate has not worn (in public) since 2013!
The Duchess topped off the look with the Sapphire & Diamond Oval Drop 'Diana' Earrings.
