As anticipated, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are spending part of their summer with the Queen and Prince Philip at their Scottish holiday home, Balmoral Castle. Many members of the royal family attended a church service on Sunday at the nearby Crathie Kirk. Kate and William joined the Queen in Her Majesty's Bentley as the royal family left the service.
The Duchess wore a new grey tweed coatdress - a bespoke design by Catherine Walker. It has a Peter Pan collar with a black piped trim and matching buttons. She teamed the coat with a new black hat which appears to have a design very similar to the navy chapeau by Lock & Co she wore for a service honoring the 75th anniversary of the RAF Cadets in February 2016.
Kate finished off the look with the Queen’s Bahrain Pearl and Diamond Drop earrings. They were first loaned to the Duchess for Remembrance Sunday in November 2016.

If it weren't for this blog I would have never known she was at Balmoral. On my birthday none the less. Thanks!
