The Duchess of Cambridge hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace on Monday evening to celebrate the incredible work of Place2Be over the past 25 years.
The charity is the leading UK provider of school-based mental health services, providing early therapeutic intervention to help children and young people cope with issues such as bullying, bereavement, domestic violence, family breakdown, neglect and trauma. The Duchess has supported the program in her role as Patron since April 2013. Speaking at this eveningâs reception, Kate said: âHaving visited many of your schools, meeting hundreds of your wonderful staff, children and young people, it is heart-warming to see that the support you provide is so much more than just being there in a time of desperate needâ. The Duchess brought back the stunning royal blue Jenny Packham gown she worn for the Bollywood Charity Gala during the Royal Visit to India in 2016. âThe chiffon silk bespoke dress was beaded in India along with the matching shawl and clutch. âKate opted not to wear the scarf tonight. The Duchess wore a new pair of statement earrings - the Erdem Blue Crystal And Pearl Embellished Floral Drop Earrings (£310). We got a glimpse of the Jimmy Choo 'Romy 100' Silver Glitter Dégradé Pumps.

I really like this dress, both times Kate wore it. It's very princessy which makes me think maybe she chose it on purpose to please the kids?

I was wondering when we would see this dress again. Again she looks lovely. The dress, hair, accessories are all spot on.

Perfect! The dress looks so much better without the shawl! I would say that the glitter shoes and the beaded bag are overkill- better to choose plain accessories and let the beadwork on the dress speak for itself. Kate looks magnificent here, I love how her hair always looks so glossy and shiny!

Kate looks gorgeous in her blue gown. Looks much better without the shawl. Those earrings are striking. The replikate gown from Amazon is a great choice!

This is a beautiful gown, striking with the embellishments on the bodice and sleeves. I prefer it without the cape. The silver glitter shoes I like very much as opposed to the black strappy shoes she wore in 2016. Love the clutch, gorgeous. Not a fan of the earrings. Some lovely diamonds from the vaults of the Palace would have been wonderful, but that is my personal preference only. Makeup looks natural and hair is a great length. The Duchess looks superb.

I have made a little list and I think all these gown rank, Kate 2019 bespoke white Alexander McQueen with floral appliqué on the shoulder is my absolute favorite grown, then the 2016 the stunning bespoke chiffon silk royal blue Jenny Packham that I am so happy she wore it again now this year, then my other favorite is 2017 powder blue sequined gown by Jenny Packham that is more beautiful close-up and the bespoke 2012 Alexander McQueen white with gown gold embroidered hibiscus floral motif that she wore again this year another favorite, all beautiful.💙
