The Duchess of Cambridge was scheduled to join Prince William at the Tusk Awards this evening, but was forced to miss the event 'due to the children' according to a Kensington Palace spokesman.
During the ceremony, the Palace released a photo of Kate and William with the Tusk Awards nominees and finalists taken earlier in the day.
Kate's version of the 'Yahvi' dress is made from 100% wool crepe and does not have the fluted sleeve. Instead it is fashioned with a three button cuff. Below we see it on Kate when she wore it for the first time in January for a visit to the Family Action Lewisham centre.
The Duchess added a matching fabric belt today.

I was really looking forward to seeing Kate attend the Tusk Awards. I hope all is well with the kiddies. It's lovely to see the Beulah Yahvi dress again. I swoon over the button detail down the front. I prefer the dress with the matching belt she wore today.

A elegant, understated look, perfect for the occasion. Olive green colour is gorgeous, love this dress. I prefer the modified sleeves with the 3 button cuff which, is not visible here. Side button detailing adds interest and takes this dress up a notch!. Much prefer the matching fabric belt this time. Shoe choice, just right.

Her hair was perfect before. Here it's too light and wrong shade. : (
