The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall for a visit to the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC) Stanford Hall in Loughborough.
The state-of-the-art Ministry of Defence clinical rehabilitation facility, provides expert care and support for wounded, injured and sick Armed Forces personnel.
The Duchess choose a navy custom outfit by Alexander McQueen today, perhaps as a quite tribute on the 10 year anniversary of the fashion designer's death.
The wool-blend separates appear to be based on a ready-to-wear set from Alexander McQueen's Pre-Fall '17 collection (ID by @HeavenQRF).
The military-inspired peplum jacket in light wool silk is decorated with metal buttons on the waist and collar. It has a concealed button fastening on center front. Kate had the pleated midi skirt modified by removing the buttoned peplem detail.
The Duchess wore a similar silhouette in green for the 2019 St Patrick's Day parade.
Kate carried a new bag - the Alexander McQueen 'Wicca' mini satchel in black leather. She also owns this model in white leather, and raffia.
This particular style has been discontinued, however the 'Wicca' bag is currently available in black leather with a pipe trim at Net-a-Porter.
On her feet, the Duchess wore her black suede Ralph Lauren Collection High Heel Boot.
Kate accessorized the look with her Mappin & Webb 'Empress' Diamond Carriage Earrings.
