The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge concluded their first day in Glasgow with two receptions.
The royal couple first attended a reception for the Finalists of the first Earthshot Prize Awards at the Clydeside Distillery, on the sidelines of the COP26 summit.

Later that evening, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall at a reception to mark the opening day of the COP26 summit at the Scottish Event Campus, which saw Her Majesty The Queen address the assembled delegates via a recorded message.

The royals mingled with world leaders and delegates attending the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference.
Tonight, The Duchess debuted a blue midi coat dress by Eponine London. The design is from the label's Spring/Summer ’20 Couture collection and is price on application.
It appears Kate added another Emmy London 'Natasha' clutch to her collection. This one rendered in midnight suede to coordinate with her Rupert Sanderson 'Malory' pumps.
She accessorized with her Kiki McDonough blue topaz and diamond earrings.
She topped of the ensemble with her Codebreakers Poppy Brooch which she first wore for the 2019 Remembrance Sunday service.

Such a fantastic, classy coat dress. I'm baffled by how many find it too long, this has been a standard length for an age now. Shorten this skirt and the whole thing loses drama and balance. Those raised shoulders and midi length are a classic 1940s silhouette. I love the sleek tailoring in the V-neck wrap-over bodice neatly punctuated by the belt disappearing into the flat front. The raised neck and subtle pleating at shoulder and waist are a delight and all topped off by a superb updo. A classic business-to-cocktail outfit.

Kate looked beautiful at the reception. I have to admitted I was disappointed we only saw Kate on Monday at the COP26 conference. I thought William and Kate would be attending the conference for several days. Maybe she will have an engagement later this week.

This is a beautiful dress coat. The colour is a marvellous shade of blue and suits the Duchess perfectly. The choice of shoes and clutch, colour excellent. I am personally not a fan of the Kiki, blue topaz diamond earrings, but that's just me, a beautiful pair of lovely Sapphires, IMO would have been divine, regardless the Duchess looks superb, elegant and appropriately dressed.

The Duchess is elegant in this coat dress and it feels appropriate for the occasion. The dress looks so much better when worn than when hanging on the peg. The two black buttons loook like mini headlights and pull the eye in to this detail. Her hair style looks stunning.
