The thank-you party at Troubadour White City Theatre brought together people from across the UK who volunteer with Shout to support people in crisis.

Kate looked smart in cropped ruby red trousers and her Smythe check jacket. I have more outfit details below.

JACKET: Smythe Glen Check 2 Button Blazer (repeat).

TOP: Off-white round neck knit top (unidentified). It appears to be the same one Kate wore the trip to Cyprus in December of 2018.

PANTS: NEW! Joseph 'Zoom' ruby cady slim trousers (£345).

BELT: Possibly the Zara black leather belt with buckle (US$35.90).

SHOES: Gianvito Rossi 'Piper' 85 Black Suede Pumps (repeat).

Everytime Kate wears that Smythe blazer she nails it! She looked amazing today! I loved the entire outfit!

A sensational outfit from Kate, really well thought through, loving the monochrome check jacket against purple -- too funny that's the second such jacket after Letizia's stand-out houndstooth for the Cuba trip. I'd like the trousers even more if they weren't in a stretch fabric which goes loose and baggy around the crutch when Kate moves, rather than relying on quality tailoring with something like a lightweight wool.

And I can't stand a kick flare, even as gentle as this one, which had to be pointed out to me. I think it just spoils the potential for a good clean line of a narrow leg, I find the flare irrelevant and awkward when the cut is meant to be a crop.

But I still think overall Kate looks at her best!

I love everything about this outfit! Elizabeth, do you happen to know the designer of her white shell/t-shirt? I am looking for one just like it, and it's harder to find than I thought.

It makes me so happy to see Kate wearing trousers. She looks so smart and chic. I love the contrasting ruby colour, but I wish either the pant length was longer, or the hem was cut a bit narrower for this ankle length.

A really great look. The jacket is lovely, so versatile. The colour combination works really well. The pants are terrific, a great fit, love the length. The subtle pieces of jewellery are the perfect finishing touch, nice!
