The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge travelled to South Wales today. The royal couple visited Mumbles and Port Talbot and called in to see local businesses and organisations.
On arrival, William and Kate visited the Mumbles Lifeboat Station. Lifeboat crews at The Mumbles have been saving lives for over 180 years and have been presented with 33 awards for gallantry.
Then it was time for a tasty treat at Joe's Ice Cream. The Duke and Duchess sampled Italian ice cream at the family run parlour which has been serving gelato since Joe Cascarini arrived from Italy in the early 1900s.
The royal couple then headed to Port Talbot for a stop at the Tata Steel UK factory, a vital employer for the community.
William and Kate's final stop in South Wales was the Bulldogs BCA Boxing Gym - a community focused charity that provides non-contact boxing themed exercise activities to help address health, employability and education.
