The Prince and Princess of Wales visited the Hayes Muslim Centre on Thursday.
The community centre in west London has been fundraising for those affected by the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. The Prince and Princess expressed their appreciation towards members involved in the aid effort.
During the visit, the Princess of Wales opted for a monochromatic outfit that she had previously worn in September 2022 while visiting Sandringham House ahead of Queen Elizabeth II's funeral (shown below).
The pieces include a black Catherine Walker long wool coat paired with a custom Alexander McQueen Long Pleated Skirt Dress in black.
Kate carried her Grace Han 'Love Letter' Small Top Handle Bag, and on her feet were her Gianvito Rossi 105 pumps in black suede.
The Princess covered her head with a shawl during the visit to the Muslim center as a mark of respect and solidarity.
The white and black embroidered dupatta is from the Élan 'Royal Garden' Kurta set, which the then Duchess of Cambridge wore during the Royal Visit to Pakistan in October 2019 (shown below).

I'm delighted to get a second chance to look at this black outfit, I really liked the subtle use of texture on the McQueen dress when it was first worn, it introduced discreet variety without loss of solemnity. It makes a useful repeat with the lean lines of the Catherine Walker coat to acknowledge the extent of tragedy that has hit Turkey. The use of the black-and white dupatta is good way to lighten the tone of the outfit, but beautiful as the Elan item is, I'm not sure loose hanging cloth around the head flatters anyone. Kate, however, remains as beautiful and appropriate as ever.

Its lovely to see a rewear of this black outfit. I love the use of the shawl, beautiful piece. Appropriate for the occasion. Love the knot pearl earrings, they are beautiful. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
