The Prince and Princess of Wales marked Commonwealth Day on Monday.
They joined King Charles III, Queen Camila, the Duke & Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal, and Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence for a multi-faith service at Westminster Abbey.
Commonwealth Day is held on the second Monday in March each year. It is a celebration of the Commonwealth of Nations which represents a global network of 54 countries working in collaboration towards shared economic, environmental, social and democratic goals.
The King delivered his first Commonwealth Day Message during the service since becoming the organisation's head. The monarch reflected on the late Queen during a speech and also spoke of the Royal Family's commitment to the organisation and its international Commonwealth family.
For today's ceremony in London, the Princess debuted an Erdem ensemble.
The navy floral print separates are from the Pre-Fall 2023 collection and feature an ottoman jacquard peplum jacket ($2,495) with a coordinating flared midi skirt ($1,695). With thanks to @Japanese_Ginger for the ID.
She complemented the set with a new navy felt saucer hat featuring a bow detail by British milliner, Sean Barrett.
The design bears a resemblance to the chapeau that Kate wore for the Queen’s funeral last year.
The Princess supplemented the look with familiar navy suede accessories. She carried her Emmy London 'Natasha' clutch, and on her feet were the Gianvito Rossi 'Gianvito 105' Pumps.
We got a glimpse of her navy bow wool jersey gloves designed by Andy Sheils for Dents.
Kate donned Princess Diana's Cabochon Sapphire Drop Earrings.
Today we saw the return of the Prince of Wales Feathers Brooch without the emerald pendant. Kate first wore this royal heirloom for a meeting with the President of South Africa last November.
And finally, a look at the detail of Kate's chignon.
FASHION FLASHBACK
Below is a look back at Kate's past Commonwealth Day ensembles since she first starting attending in 2015. The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge were absent in 2017, and the service was canceled in 2021 due to the pandemic.

Boy do I love this look. I adore the hat and hope she keeps wearing this elegant style hat. As always, Kate's look is perfect for the occassion. I understand the desire to switch things up, but if it were me, I would not have removed that stunning emerald from the brooch. It looks great without it, but it's such a magnificent piece. I wouldn't have had the self-control to not wear it. It's a terrific look altogether. 10 out of 10.

There's a sense of deja vu with this outfit being so similar in style to others Kate has, but I can understand her sticking with a style she finds comfortable. The Erdem take is typically sophisticated, the bodice enriched with overstitching back and front, being a touch ornate and consistent with the magnificent cathedral setting.

I love that she has embraced wearing longer hemlines and slightly more conservative cuts now that she is in her 40s. I think it's safe to say that these past couple years, she has officially entered her new style era.

I adore the outfit - just not so sure about the misatched blue hat, shoes & bag. I feel it would have looked better with a cream fasinator or pillbox. Matching blue shoes & hat.

This is a lovely outfit, stylish and chic. The hat is beautiful. Love the double Sapphire and diamond earrings, perfect addition. The Navy accessories, I love. She looks very elegant.

I find Erdem very hit and miss, though the hits can be great, but I'm struggling to make up my mind about this one. It's ok by me if Kate finds a style she likes and sticks to it, but this version of peplum jacket and skirt just seems to sit so oddly, the jacket is presumably meant to be high-waisted but the effect seems overdone on Kate's long torso. The peplum, hips, and skirt flare seem to be out of proportion.
