The Prince and Princess of Wales attended a Commonwealth reception and lunch at Buckingham Palace on Friday.
King Charles III hosted the event for Realm Governors-General and Prime Ministers on the eve of his Coronation tomorrow. Other royal family members in attendance included Princess Anne, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
After lunch, the King, Prince William, and the Princess of Wales made an unexpected walkabout outside the Palace along The Mall.
Kate looked radiant in a white sheath dress featuring contrasting black velvet trim along the neckline and waist.
We believe that the dress is a design by Jenny Packham, in part due to its resemblance to other dresses worn by the Princess.
The Princess teamed the dress with a new pair of Aquazzura pumps, the 'Bow-Tie' in black suede ($850). This is not the first time Kate has worn this design; she also has it in blush.
She carried her black Prada Satin Clutch with Stone Embellishment.
She topped off the look with the late Queen's Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings.
